You Are Resilient,
We Are Resilia

Resilia is more than an art gallery – we are a hub for creativity, collaboration, and curated excellence. Our mission is to connect artists, collectors, and communities through thoughtfully curated exhibitions and programs that engage the un-engage-ables and teach the un-teach-ables.

A Story of Resilience

Brilliant Minds, vibrant Places

Our signature program, Brilliant Minds, Vibrant Places, is offered by Resilia. Drawing on our expertise in the arts and gerontology, we teach senior care leaders how to facilitate dynamic art projects as an extension of your existing activity program making your activities pay off – for improved health and your bottom line. Discover Brilliant Minds.

About the Gallery

Resilia is a professional art gallery and creative community that showcases a curated collection of original works in our virtual gallery and in satellite exhibits hosted by senior care organizations.

Our mission is to connect the arts with health and human connection. Each piece displayed through Resilia is created by our diverse community of artists — including senior adults, team members from senior care organizations, family caregivers, and other contributing creatives.

As a professional gallery, Resilia represents and sells artwork on behalf of our artists, ensuring every sale directly supports both the creator and a cause that matters. For each artwork sold, 60% of the proceeds go to the artist, 30% supports the operations of Resilia, and 10% is donated to a foundation chosen by the artist that promotes the arts and cognitive health.

About the Founder

Resilia was founded in 2021 by artist and social gerontologist Ellie Rose, whose vision is to unlock the creative potential of organizations and transform how we approach aging and senior care.

Blending science with art, Ellie inspires others to reimagine aging through creativity, showing how the arts can enhance brain health, emotional well-being, and resilience.

With over 17 years of experience in the U.S. and Mexico, she has led and operated adult day centers, memory clinics, home health agencies, and a nurse training school. Ellie’s work continues to redefine gerontology and creative aging—bringing hope, innovation, and vibrancy to care communities big and small.

Our Initiatives

Resilia has three immersive initiatives to improve your community with essential tools
and skills training for your staff teams and volunteers.

Make Brain Health programs your differentiator! Combine neuroscience, gerontology, and the Arts to offer the most engaging interventions that exercise the brain, elevate resilience, and enhance purpose and emotional well-being.

Bring more vibrance to your care setting! Artified communities use visual arts, music, storytelling, and other hands-on experiences to elevate engagement, narrate legacies, and enrich their physical environments with person-centered productions.

The commitments of your Certified Nursing Assistants, Aids, and volunteers are one of your greatest assets. Unlock their full potential and capitalize on their ability to lead your person-centered care, brain health, life enrichment, and care excellence initiatives.

Level-Up Your Value

Have Questions? We're Here to Answer.

Resilia started developing assembling their gallery and programs in October of 2021.

Resilia enrolls senior care organizations in their Brilliant Minds program. Organizations can enroll as a free member, a Symposium member, or as Studio Site.

Resilia works with all types of senior care organizations including certified senior centers, social- and medial-model adult day centers, home care agencies, independent residential livings, memory care residences, assisted living and long-term care facilities. Resilia also works with franchise companies within the senior care industry.

The founder of Resilia is Ellie Rose. Ellie is an artist and social gerontologist who developed the company Resilia to showcase and sell art and provide programs to strengthen cognitive resilience to support people living with life-limiting illnesses like dementia, advanced organ diseases, and cancer. Her unique path started when her resilient grandmother escaped from a nursing home and Ellie was forced to problem solve and create alternative care solutions within our conventional healthcare system. She has over 17 years of experience producing and contributing to arts-based, healthcare programs. She has degrees and certifications in fine art painting and sculpture, nursing, applied gerontological practices in gerontology, social gerontology, and leadership in healthcare. She has led and operated multiple adult day health centers, memory clinics, a home care agency, and a nurse training school. After living in Mexico City, Mexico for seven years, Ellie moved back to the United States to help individuals, families, and healthcare organizations rise above the norms of traditional care and provide a more person-centered and meaningful experience.

Resilia hosts a virtual gallery and works on-site at senior care organization member locations. However, staff teams reside in Naples, Florida, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Mexico City, Mexico.

Resilia currently contracts artists and clinicians from the United States of America and Mexico. Resilia does not employee part-time or full-time artists.
